Who Am I?

I was born and raised between Haines, Alaska and Sayulita, Mexico. After graduating high school in Haines, I moved to the lower 48 to improve my snowboarding with access to chairlifts. I quickly realized that I favored the foot powered approach of my childhood. I now spend my summers raft guiding in Jackson, Wyoming to pay for my winters snowboarding. Most recently based at Mount Baker, I now spend the first half of the season in the lower 48 to prepare for splitboard adventures in Haines every spring. While lugging cameras around for the last decade I have found my lens pointed at some incredible scenes. Find my snowboarding on Instagram @carverculbeck and my photography here.
